Learn more about our cell phone and electronic devices policy.

Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, in accordance with New York State law,(Open external link) New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) is updating its policy regarding the use of internet-enabled electronic devices—including cell phones—in school. This change supports the State's intent to create distraction-free schools(Open external link) and aims to ensure safe and focused learning environments across all NYCPS schools.

Important update to our student dismissal policy, effective starting January 2, 2025.

To ensure the safety and security of all students, please note the following:

~All students must be signed out in person by a parent, guardian, or an authorized family member listed on the blue emergency contact card.
~Verbal releases over the phone will no longer be permitted.
~Only students with a documented medical excuse will be granted a release to leave early.

I am kindly asking for your cooperation in adhering to this updated policy as we prioritize the well-being of all students. If you have any questions or need to update your child’s blue card information, please contact the main office at 718-333-7650.

Effective September 9th, all students are required to adhere to the following uniform guidelines:

Shirt: White polo with a collar
Pants: Black khaki or slacks (no jeans allowed)
Please ensure that your uniform complies with these requirements. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out.

We are also a Cell Phone Free School.

Effective September 5th, all students are required to adhere to the following cell phone policy. Please read pages 14-15.


School Starts promptly at 8:00 a.m.

School uniform policy is in effect as of Monday, September 9th, 2024.

Students must wear a solid white polo shirt and black khaki pants/slacks or joggers.
NO JEANS ARE ALLOWED. Pants may not have any rips in them.
